KELEHER’s was originally a Western and English tack shop, and the story is still told of its founder Wilfred Keleher and his legendary bartering system, in which he traded unwanted possessions for new ones. Soon however, he began selling his accumulated stock to raise his five children. It all began with a pony and two saddles: one to keep and one to sell! Of course behind every successful man is woman, Marjorie Keleher.
Times have changed of course, and so has Keleher’s, always a step ahead in the industry.
2012 Keleher’s moved into a 7000 sq. foot building after being 50 some years at their prior location.
Wilfred is fondly remembered, but his legacy of superior and personable customer service extends to his daughters, Connie Cosman and Shirley Keleher.
Visit the new location today! Though bigger in space and product variety, Keleher’s continues to retain that personal and intimate shopping experience, where you’re always treated like one of the family.
